Job Description – Founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Company: ArenaXLive Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Founder & CEO About Us ArenaXLive is a Dubai-based technology startup building the next generation of AI-powered social entertainment for the Middle East. Our platform combines short-form video, live streaming, creator monetization, messaging, and intelligent content recommendations. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, build the engineering team, and oversee the design, development, and scaling of our platform. Key Responsibilities • Define and execute the company's technology roadmap. • Build and lead a world-class engineering team. • Design scalable cloud architecture. • Lead development of iOS, Android, Backend, and Admin Platform. • Oversee AI recommendation systems and live-streaming technologies. • Ensure cybersecurity, scalability, and high system availability. • Recruit, mentor, and manage engineering talent. • Work closely with the Founder and Product team. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. • Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience. • Minimum 3 years in engineering leadership. • Experience building scalable consumer applications. • Strong knowledge of: • Flutter • Node.js / Go / Python • AWS or Google Cloud • PostgreSQL • Redis • Docker & Kubernetes • REST APIs & Microservices • Experience with video streaming, messaging platforms, or AI-powered applications is highly preferred. Preferred Skills • Startup experience. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Ability to recruit and build engineering teams. • Passion for innovation and high-growth technology companies.
