Role Description This full-time, on-site IT Specialist role is based in Baghdad Governorate, Iraq. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software systems. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing security measures, and assisting team members with IT-related requests. The role involves configuring and maintaining network equipment, ensuring data backups and updates are completed, and documenting procedures and solutions. The IT Specialist will collaborate with other departments to support operational continuity and contribute to technology improvements. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and Troubleshooting skills to manage systems and resolve technical issues efficiently. • Candidates should possess Network Administration skills to configure, monitor, and maintain network devices and services. • Candidates should possess Network Security skills to implement and maintain security controls, protect data, and manage access rights. • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide clear, respectful support to internal users and stakeholders. • Relevant experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in an on-site environment. • Solid understanding of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and common enterprise applications. • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and respond calmly under pressure. • Relevant technical certification or diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. • Professional proficiency in English and Arabic for effective communication and documentation is beneficial.
